MINUTES OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
JULY 14, 2009
The following board members were present Lynn Richman, Linda Bormann, Lorry Myers, Meredith Stidham, Amanda Dawson, Matt Stephens and Jim Coleman. The following ex officio members were present Lynn Behrns and Ginny Zoellers.
The board reviewed the minutes of the Anchor Festival Review meeting held in June. An Anchor Festival agenda item will be placed on the agenda for future meetings to discuss the items that were raised at that meeting.
The board reviewed the directors report of bills paid and account balances.
The board reviewed the job description and made a few minor changes. The school to work activities are no longer in the job description implementation of those programs will go to the school. We will continue with Interview Day. Linda made a motion to approve and Lynn seconded. The board approved the job description as amended.
The board reviewed the evaluation form. Board members will fill out an evaluation before the next meeting and the bonus plan will be discussed at that time.
The letter sent by John Hinten related to ADA was distributed to board members. Each board member is to take the letter and read it and it will be discussed at a future meeting. The next quarterly meeting will be held on August 14th . A representative from the Great Plains ADA Center will present a program on ADA compliance.
The Annual Chamber dinner will be held on November 6th. The dinner will include a Silent Auction.
The board discussed the Christmas Plans and wants to explore lighting the city square and having only the night time parade. The first Saturday would still be the Open House.
